We are holding the first of our new Filmbase Crew Catch-Ups on Thursday 8th October, via Zoom, from 6.45pm to 7.15pm.
These catch-ups are meant to be a chance for crew members to come together (we'll have some in-person meets as well, around the UK), to network, talk about the industry, jobs, rates, box rental, working conditions and just to ask advice if there's anything we can help with!
They will be very informal with no set agenda, but we hope they will prove useful for Filmbase members to share advice and perhaps swap contact details if there is work in the offing.
Particularly when the industry is so quiet, it can be a huge help just to chat to other crew members in the same situation as you.
Rob from Filmbase will be on the call this time, and also dropping in to chat will be Eva Onsrud, who worked as a Senior Production Buyer and Set Decorator, before taking up a position recently as Head of Film and TV at leading greens supplier Palmbrokers.
We hope you can join us - drop in anytime via your phone or computer between 6.15pm and 7.15pm on Thursday 8 October. We'll send the Zoom link nearer the time.
