The film industry had been on a rollercoaster ride over the last few years and needed a period of stability, when Donald Trump made his unwelcome “100% tariff” comments a few weeks ago.

In our next webinar, run with Talking Point, we’re going to be asking what the impact of Trump’s comments has been so far, and might be in the future, for UK crew.

And we’ll be talking about what other, perhaps bigger factors are currently influencing the global film and HETV industry.

Helping us put it all in context will be Helen Johnson of Talking Point, who has followed industry ups and downs for more than two decades.

Is the UK's place as a production hub secure? Can we still compete on tax incentives? What does all this mean in terms of UK crew jobs?

With Helen, we'll do our best to answer the big questions and talk about how things might pan out over this year and next.
