from The Film and TV Charity
Thursday 3rd October 2024
19:00-20:00 (BST) via Zoom
This workshop session is for crew who look after team members, for example as HoDs, Art Directors, Assistant Sec Decorators, Coordinators, Graphics Art Directors.
We know that many crew members in these roles are looking for further guidance on how to support the wellbeing of their team members. The fast pace of the industry can make it a challenge to get the job done while also considering the wellbeing and mental health of your team.
This workshop is being held to help guide senior crew in this area and is jointly organised by Filmbase with the Graphics Union.
Graphics Union chair Camise Oldfield, who is a mental health first aider and Justine Walton from The Film and TV Charity will discuss ways to embed and maintain positive working practices for you and your team.
Topics will include, how to formulate a wellbeing plan, communicate it to your team, be clear about bullying, harassment and discrimination and how you can support colleagues with mental health issues.
You will also have the opportunity to discuss any real-life examples that you have experienced. Justine will also be able to respond to any specific questions you have.
The Film and TV Charity has produced a Toolkit for Mentally Healthy Productions, offering guidance for line managers.
Due to the nature of this session, spaces are limited.
Sign up for the workshop below. Don't forget to submit a question if there's anything specific you like Justine to answer.
The webinar is FREE for members of Filmbase and the Graphics Union.
