Which Programs to Learn for the Art Department

featuring

Supervising Art Director, James Lewis

Friday 9 February

13:15 - 13:45 (UK time) via Zoom

Sponsored by

There is a huge choice of 2D and 3D programs out there, including Vectorworks, Sketchup, Rhino, Blender, Z Brush and many more. If you're just starting out in the Art Department, how do you choose which to learn and become proficient in? Do you need to learn them all?

Next in our series of 30-minute, lunchtime Q&As, we're talking to Supervising Art Director James Lewis about starting out in the Art Department and which programs you should focus on learning, to have the best chance at a career in the Art Department.

James is well-placed to answer your questions - he has worked as both a Production Designer for TV as well as an Art Director and Supervising Art Director on feature films. James' credits over the last two decades include Poor Things, Morbius, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and The Batman

Sign up for the session below. Don't forget to submit a question if there's anything specific you'd like James to answer.

UPDATE 7/2/24: This webinar is now sold-out and we're taking places on the waiting list. Please sign up and we'll confirm your place if anyone drops out.
